Tasting Wildhorse Canyon
On Friday after OU's Rah Rally for homecoming, I traveled to my boyfriend's apartment again. He had already gone to the store to purchase some wine to try with me! He picked out Wildhorse Canyon pinot grigio, something the workers recommended he try an Oklahoma wine! Apparently the whites are better, so he had to choose between riesling and pinot grigio. As much as I enjoy rieslings, he does not like sweet wines so he compromised with the pinot.

At first glance, the wine was nearly orange. It had a nice golden hue! It is a 2016 pinot grigio from Luthor, Oklahoma! It was about $14. Was very excited to try a home state wine.
The excitement did not last long, however. The taste was alright, but it had a sharpie twang to it. I could taste a lot of orange, and some apple and pear. It was definitely acidic, but I could especially taste the alcohol in it and I'm not sure why. It was definitely sharp, but it wasn't pleasant like the stomach acid taste I like. I gagged while trying to drink it because of a strange cat pee scent that hits as you drink it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

I recently decided to go pescatarian for fun, so CJ purchased me some fake chicken nuggets for dinner! You can bet I decided to test out that combo.
I also really like to dip my nuggets in mustard in sriracha, so you can imagine what I was in for.

The taste nearly burned my mouth. The wine was already strangely sharp, so add mustard and sriracha and weird soy nuggets and my mouth turned hot and burned. It was also really spicy and sour (mustard and acidic wine, oh boy). Needless to say, I did not like it that much, but wine is wine! CJ enjoyed it at least.

Here's me being a heathen with some chocolate milk! Enjoy this cursed image.
